I might be a bit like, overly sentimental to this or something, but am I the only one who doesn't know what it means when someone says your work is "good?" or "amazing?" or whatever else?
Maybe it's because that puts a value on it, or it gives it a pity stamp of "that's good for something you drew." but i don't think that there is such a thing as "good" art.
Art is something inexplicable--even as the old saying goes, i don't think that even 1,000 words could cover it. Sometimes i feel like i'm the only one who can experience a drawing/sketch/song/poem/novel/etc and understand that it doesn't need a stamp of "good" or "bad" or "cool" or "awesome" or anything, because it is what it is, and that is art.
So when people tell me something is good, that's why i'm awkward about saying 'thank you', because i don't really know what that means.
